Chore Day and Happy Guinea Pigs

Today has been a day filled with chores.  Not so much fun, but necessary.

Now I can get to some crafting fun.

Just a note: I've decided having a blog on 3 sites is just too time consuming.  I'm only going to be to using Tumblr from now on, since it seems to best fit my needs.

Lastly, for your viewing pleasure, here's one of my guinea pigs, Cookie, enjoying the new hay bag I made her and her sister, Candie.

Aren't Interviews Fun?

Today I had my first job interview since moving to Simi Valley. 

As I was getting ready, I had to deal with this:

 My cat, Josie, "helping out". 

I think the interview went really well.  I actually would really like this job, so any blessings would be appreciated.  I really liked the people who interviewed me and the office had a good feeling about it.

Another nice thing is that I would get to stay M-F days, so my nights and weekends can be spent crafting and learning new things.

For now, I think I will celebrate getting through this first one by continuing on my new crochet project.

I'm Back!

I finally have my computer and internet back!  I’m so glad.  Trying to do anything on a small phone just gets tiring.  

I still have a lot of unpacking to do before I can really get down to crafting, but I will be unveiling a new item in my shop later today.

Looking at all the boxes I have to unpack is a bit daunting.  I thought I had trimmed down on my things, but apparently I still have a bit more to do.

I hopefully will be hearing news on a new job today.  It’s only a temp/part time position, but I know I can change that if I can get my foot in the door.

Starting a new life after losing someone is never easy, but I know that’s what my mother wanted me to do.  I will do it to the best of my ability in honor of her, although I do miss her terribly.
